Dance, connect & clear your mind ✨

Unizubi Tanz is our initiative to make West Coast Swing accessible and affordable for young people in Munich! Whether you study at LMU, TUM, HM or are doing a vocational apprenticeship (Azubi) – you are warmly welcome.

What is West Coast Swing?
West Coast Swing (WCS) is the most modern of all partner dances: danced to current pop, RnB, acoustic, and club music. Instead of rigid choreography, it is all about fluid connection, musicality, and having fun together!

📅 One course – two dates & social party ▾

The course takes place across two consecutive Fridays:

  • Session 1 (Fri, Nov 13, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM): Maillinger Studios (Maillingerstraße 6). Starting smoothly from scratch with core fundamentals.
  • Session 2 (Fri, Nov 20, 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM): EineWeltHaus (Schwanthalerstraße 80). Expanding moves, turns, flow – and directly followed by open party & social dance time! 🎉

Because each session builds upon the previous one, your registration directly covers both dates.

👥 No dance partner required! ▾

You can sign up solo or with friends. During class, we regularly rotate dance partners – making it super easy and natural to meet new people.

💛 Voluntary donation basis & guideline ▾

As a non-profit association, we believe financial constraints should never keep anyone from dancing. For comparison: Normally, a dance workshop of this kind costs at least 20€ per session – and with an included party, regular pricing is usually around 25€ to 30€ per night. With us, participation is fundamentally free – 0€ is completely fine! If you can and want to support us, you decide freely on a voluntary donation basis (our recommended orientation starts at just 10€ per session). Your donation helps cover studio rent and pay our teachers fairly.

💡 Why donation-based? ▾

As the non-profit association Dance With Us e.V., we believe dancing should be accessible to everyone regardless of budget. For comparison: A regular dance workshop of this kind normally costs at least 20€ per session – and with an included after-party, regular workshop pricing is usually around 25€ to 30€. With us, participation is fundamentally free – 0€ is completely fine! If you are able and willing, we welcome a voluntary donation (our recommended guideline starts at just 10€ per session). Your donation helps cover studio rents (Maillinger Studios & EineWeltHaus) and pay our teachers fairly. Every contribution is deeply appreciated! 💛
